JMR is cool!

My day started very early with a walk to the beach on Lake Huron from JMR.  It was a beautiful, calm morning and I passed many early risers with their dogs, strollers and fishing poles.  I walked to Pioneer Park and down the 121 steps to the sandy beach, found some amazing sea glass to use in my stained glass art and sat near the pier watching the men and ladies fishing.  I then walked past the marina and up the pathway to the historic main street and read the community board for local news.  It was a perfect way to start the day - it was 6:30 am but any later would have been too hot to walk!

Our visitors are quite happy to step through our doors on these extremely hot, beautiful days of summer in Bayfield.  Not only are they experiencing wonderful original Ontario art but they are also enjoying the nice cool air in the gallery.

Bayfield welcomes our visitors from all over the world.  If you are daytripping, Bayfield seems to be the destination to bring your guests, enjoy the shops, galleries and recently awarded Blue Flag Beach.  Check out the latest photos (to the right click "Click hear to see all the wonders of Bayfield".
