Sponsors 1st Annual Bayfield Plein Air Day 

“Paint the Village Red, White, Green, Yellow . . .”

SATURDAY, JUNE 26 – 9 am – 4 pm

    Artists from all over Ontario will be visiting Bayfield this Saturday, June 26 for the 1st Annual JMR Bayfield Plein Air Day!

Artists will meet at the gallery located in the "Shops on Charles Street" at 9 am to register and refreshments and return to JMR for display and more refreshments between 3 & 4 pm!   The public is also welcome to view the day's creativity during the afternoon 'exhibit'. 

Included in the day is an "Introduction to Meditation" and "Walking the Labyrinth" at The Spa in Bayfield and an "Historic Walking Tour"

by the Bayfield Historical Society.   Check our blogs for the day's schedule.

So, if you see an artist on the street, in front of the many historical buildings,

in the beautiful parks or on the scenic beach, take a minute to say hello and watch The Ontario Artist create!  

Note:  the artists are here to create only, no sales on this day but please join us on July 30 for the JMR Exhibit "Loving Bayfield"

to see their finished artwork.   All artists/art welcome, register on the day, bring your own creating supplies

and (if you can) stay for the breath-taking sunset on the shores of Lake Huron.  Reserve your room today at the many Inns and B&B's in Bayfield!

Note:  If you are a Bayfield Business and would like to include information/artist discounts in the artist information package

please bring a minimum quantity of 50 (we anticipate 100+ artists) to JMR on Thursday Jun 24 between 10 am - 5 pm.
