JMR Art Gallery

JMR is glowing with sunset art!  I am so thrilled at the amazing original art the Ontario Artists have created.  Our exhibit opens tomorrow with an evening reception from 6 pm - 9ish pm.  Over 80 artpieces are on display and include oil, watercolour, acrylic, encaustic (wax), floating glass, stained glass (with reverse painting), photography, mixed media, clay, and fibre!   We are also honoured to be the first in the area to have on display the "Ultimate Chess Game - Archer's Chess".  The artwork for the board was created by our good neighbour Tony at Celtic Studios and the game's creator will be on site to challenge you to a game! (Note: this game will be launched in New York next summer!)

Our reception also includes hors d'oeuvres catered by Bayfield's Red Pump Restaurant and a live flutist playing throughout the event.  You are also welcome to few the 16 individual Ontario art exhibits in JMR's Main Galllery.  I hope you will drop in, meet the artists, enjoy the sunsets and connect with an artpiece for your home.  FYI - prices start from under $100.  Reminder:  Saturday and Sunday the JMR Artists will have extended outside displays for Bayfield's Sail & Canvas Event!
