There are numerous exhibiting opportunties for The Ontario Artist at JMR.

JMR's Gallery Main - limited exhibiting space available for the 2010 season please contct JMR directly for more information. *****NOTE:  JMR Main Gallery has no available space for July and August 2010. JMR's Gallery Twenty2-  enter the 2010 changing exhibits (see below).

 

Bayfield Plein Air Day 

“Paint the Village Red, White, Green, Yellow . . .”
SATURDAY, JUNE 26 – 9 am – 4 pm (all welcome to stay for the sunset!)
All artists are welcome to Plein Air Day in the Village of Bayfield sponsored by JMR Art Gallery. Meet at the gallery at 9 am to register and refreshments and return to JMR for display and more refreshments at 4 pm!
(Please let JMR know in advance, if you are attending, to plan for this day)
Bring your easels, paints, cameras, etc., and find a spot among the historic buildings, beautiful parks or scenic beach area. Also, submit your completed artwork for the “Loving Bayfield” Exhibit Opening Aug 22 (see below for more details)

The following exhibits will be in JMR Gallery Twenty2
(JMR Gallery Main will be available for wall rental space, contact the gallery)

All Canadian artists are welcome to submit for jurying – all forms of original art accepted – non-refundable entry fee $22 for up to 2 items accepted, due upon art delivery.

MAY 22 – JUNE 12:  

“Twenty2”

All art must have a “22” element (i.e. colours, lines, subject, dimensions, etc.)
Opening Reception: Saturday, May 22
Deadline for submissions: Closed
Art delivered by: Sat May 15, 5 pm
 
 
 
JUNE 19 – JULY 24: “Glowing”

All artwork must be inspired by the

beautiful sunsets of Bayfield

Pre-Opening Reception: Saturday, June 19 
Deadline for submissions: May 21
Art delivered by:  Tues,  June 15, 5 pm
 

 

JULY 30 – SEPTEMBER 6: 

“Loving Bayfield”

Bayfield inspired artwork including artwork from JMR’s Paint the Village Plein Air Day
Opening Reception: Saturday, July 30
Deadline for Submissions:  Jun 30
Art delivered by:  July 26, 5 pm
 
 

SEPTEMBER - NOVEMBER 12,13,14 CHRISTMAS SHOW

Gallery Twenty2 and Main Gallery  will be available for individual artists wall rental.
Please contact JMR to reserve your area.
